Jones wins APA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Diversity by the Society of Pediatric Psychology

Heather Jones, Ph.D. , Primary Care Psychology's Training Collaborative's co-director, has been named the 2024 recipient of the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Diversity by the Society of Pediatric Psychology, a division of the American Psychological Association (APA). This award honors a psychologist who promotes understanding and respect for diversity in research, policy or practice within the field of pediatric psychology. Jones' work focuses primarily on Black children, their families, and maternal mental health.
