I completed my bachelor's degree in biobehavioral health with a minor in global health from Pennsylvania State University in 2015. Upon graduation, I completed a two-year post-baccalaureate fellowship at the National Institutes of Health studying child and adolescent health behaviors, specifically focusing on eating behaviors and their association with depressive symptoms. I joined the doctoral program in clinical psychology at VCU in 2017. My research interests have broadened to include coping mechanisms in families affected by pediatric chronic disease and specifically looking at family-based models of care.
