I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from New York University in 2014. I joined the clinical psychology program at VCU in 2017 after working as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children-Boston for several years. Broadly, my research interests include risk and protective factors among Latinx youth, acculturation processes, the role of identity centrality, and utilization of mental health services within Latinx communities. My main clinical interests involve implementation of culturally competent assessments and treatments, and integrating mental health services in primary care and school settings.
