I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University. My focus is on the impact of exposure to community violence on mental health outcomes and problem behaviors, as well as interventions aimed at reducing the effects of community violence. My current research examines the bidirectional relations between PTSD and physical aggression among early adolescents.
